We set high standards for ourselves and measure our success by how well we are able to fulfill our economic, environmental and social responsibilities. SNN Builders have always taken an active interest and participation in the social welfare of the communities around us and in rendering assistance for the development of the people in the surrounding areas.‚Äč

The company’s initiatives towards fulfilling its philosophy of Corporate Social Responsibility includes promoting Education facilities, Medical facilities and places of worship, pursuing tree plantation, etc.

Education for Labourers’ Children

We believe that our biggest assets are our workforce. Investing in them includes assisting them by providing education to their children so that we can be part of uplifting this strata of the society who are often unable to provide even basics to their families. SNN Builders are the first real estate company to come up with an innovative idea of setting up a school with proper state board curriculum at all our projects. Through this CSR initiative we are able to give something back to those who put in their best efforts and work tirelessly at our projects, for which we have received so much recognition. The formal school for the SNN labourers’ children started as an initiative by SNN and involving the Builders Association of Bangalore as well as the Education Department and the Labour Department.

The students have been formally enrolled by the government, thereby according it an official school status and children at the school are taught by a government teacher, making the education a formal one. Children of migrant workers who would otherwise perhaps never have the opportunity to avail of a formal education are now able to obtain one, free of cost. In addition, these children are also provided healthy meals under the Government’s free mid-day meal scheme ensuring good health alongside education. Children who never went to school, though this initiative, now have the opportunity now to learn and study and work towards a literate India.

Medical Camp for Labourers & their Families

The Greatest wealth is health and to keep our labour force healthy is our duty!! As part of our endeavor to ensure a high morale amongst our labour force, SNN Builders have developed a Medical camp - Corporate Social Responsibility program which strives to:

  • Place greater value of our Labourers’ lives and that of their families.
  • Support and improve the communities where they live and work.
  • Empower our labourers to become more engaged in the well-being of their own communities.

This initiative is part of the SNN Builders’ Corporate Social Responsibility programme through which we run Medical Camps across all of our project sites such as SNN Raj Serenity, SNN Raj Greenbay, SNN Raj Etternia, SNN Raj Grandeur, SNN Raj Spiritua & SNN Clermont.

A team of doctors routinely visit all our project sites to provide free medical consultations and guidance to members of our labour force and check for conditions such as diabetes, dangerous levels of cholesterol and high blood pressure, which are widespread among the workforce.

A dedicated medical vehicle manned by specialist doctors and paramedic staff and fitted with medical equipment visit our sites every quarter to ensure updates and follow ups on the health of these members.

The team is responsible for collection of data about the prevalence of diabetes, high blood pressure and other diseases among our SNN labour’s and hand it over to the health authorities so that they may also use that data when they wish to organize future health drives and programmes.

"Many labourers do not visit hospitals or clinics because of the high cost of medical care." Keeping this in mind, we provide medical camp Free of cost, every quarter to ensure that these members are healthy and risk-free of any ailments or diseases.

A conducive and comfortable working environment as well as the safety and welfare of our labour force and their families has always been and remains a primary thrust area for us at SNN. We undertake regular reviews and risk assessments to identify hazards to reduce accidents and incidents at our construction sites.


Ethical, Cultural and Religious Values

Devoting dedicated efforts to promoting ethical, cultural and religious values. We strongly believe and strive to inculcate and promote core values of integrity, honesty, fairness, and trust amongst all our stakeholders and the communities within which we live. To this end, we have built a number of exquisite temples, at various sites and which we believe are those all-important places that add to the peace and tranquility of our projects.

The most famous amongst the places of worship that we have built are the Vigneshwara Temple, Shiva Temple and Jain Temple in front of SNN Raj Lakeview, BTM Second stage and are open for all communities and devotees. Various cultural activities and Anna prasadam are supported throughout the year. We have also been maintaining and developing Sri Ganesha Temple at SNN Raj Grandeur, Bommanhalli site.

The company has also been active in extending financial assistance to the celebration of various cultural fairs & festivals every year.
